Even Pudsey Congs have a bogey team, and they meet them tomorrow at the Britannia Ground.
Baildon defeated the champions twice last season in the Bradford League, handing them their first setback of the campaign in late June and also beating them on the last Saturday when the title had already been settled.
Jenny Lane skipper Simon Davies said: "The only team to have beaten them this season are Undercliffe, but we just played particularly well against Congs last season.
"There was an end-of-season feel about the match at Jenny Lane, but Matthew Duce and Adam Patel batted really well in the match at Congs and Azhar Abbas bowled for 20 overs and took five wickets.
"That was the start of Congs' three-match losing streak. However, Azhar has been struggling with a shoulder injury this season and hasn't been as effective as normal."
Abbas' lack of form has more than been compensated for by Mushtaq Ahmed. Last Saturday, for example, the spinner took five for 25 off 15 overs and Davies rates him the best spinner in the league.
He still reckons though that Ahmed is too easy to hit in the closing overs, and prefers a combination of pacemen David Wigley, Abbas and Phil Slater.
Slater conceded 56 runs in nine overs at home to Woodlands last Saturday, but Davies has unflinching faith in the all-rounder, saying: "Phil did the business for us against Pudsey St Lawrence and in the cup game against East Bierley. He is a very good bowler at the death."
With five matches to go Davies hasn't given up hope of snatching second place from Spen Victoria, but the title seems destined for Congs for the fourth successive year - whatever happens tomorrow.
Spen are at home to Woodlands, who are in a trough at present, and Undercliffe entertain Hanging Heaton.
At the bottom of the table, Gomersal and Yeadon are at clubs who only a few weeks ago seemed in danger of relegation themselves. Gomersal are at Farsley, and Yeadon are at Idle.
Bradford and Bingley may have won the Priestley Cup, but still might not get into Division One.
Leaders Saltaire, who are at home to Bowling Old Lane, and Bankfoot, who have a rest day, have the whip hand on the promotion places.
Bradford and Bingley, who are at Lightcliffe, are really reliant on Saltaire defeating Bankfoot at Roberts Park a week tomorrow.
