Album: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club -- Take Me On, On Your Own
Stop is not only the first single but also the first track from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's second album. Perhaps the band should stop and offer something a little different.
Take Me On, On Your Own, may be another accomplished album from the American band, but we've heard it all before -- and from the same band. There are all too many similarities with that first offering -- it's another grower with near-identical songs, but on the other hand some superb innovative music.
With cracking songs, Generation and US Government, underlying the theme of sensitive issues such as drugs, guns and politics, this album should have promised so much more than a re-run.
