Yeadon look to have blown any chance they had of retaining their Divisioin One status when they lost to basement rivals Idle on Saturday.
However, Yeadon will be battling to the end with four games left to play including a double weekend this weekend when they take on Hanging Heaton at home on Saturday and then visit East Bierley on Sunday.
Bierley have been dragged into the relegation battle of late and Yeadon will need to take full points to stand any chance of staying up.
Against Idle Yeadon batted first and soon lost Harvey Anderson for four. Young James Todd continued to show growing maturity with a steady 38 before falling to former Guiseley youngster Chris Thompson.
He was Thompson's only success as the Yorkshire Under-19 player could only watch as spinner Steve Lawrence picked up a fine seven for 48 off 17 overs.
Jon Carey hung around with Todd for a while but Gulsharez Ahmed and Jamie Kennaway fell cheaply.
Skipper Grant Soames must have the biggest heart in Bradford League cricket at the moment and despite his side falling down around him he made a battling 24 not out.
Yeadon finished all out for 134 and this was no target for Idle although they were made to struggle for their victory.
John Roper and Chris Henry made early inroads but then M Salman steered things Idle's way with a knock of 51.
Thompson contributed 21 and with former Yeadon player Gavin Lyons unbeaten with 11 victory was Idle's with three wickets to spare.
