The championship and relegation issues in Division One of the Specialist Ducting Supplies Bradford League could well be decided by Sunday night.
In a double weekend of matches, Pudsey Congs are set to win their fourth straight league crown.
That would put them within touching distance of Windhill, who won the title five years in succession from 1937 to 1941.
Five teams have won the league three times in succession - Bradford (1927-29), Brighouse (1930-32), Baildon (1950-52), Idle (1965-67) and, of course, Congs. A victory at Gomersal tomorrow would relegate the home side, and Matthew Doidge's men could clinch matters by defeating their nearest rivals Spen Victoria at the Britannia Ground on Sunday.
Alternatively, even a winning draw would do for Congs tomorrow if Spen lose at Pudsey St Lawrence.
Another crucial game on Sunday is third-from-bottom East Bierley's match at home to second-from-bottom Yeadon, who need to make up 11 points on them with four games left. Perhaps the match of the weekend, however, is in Division Two tomorrow where leaders Saltaire entertain second-placed Bankfoot.
Although Saltaire are on 112 points and Bankfoot 103, nearest rivals Bradford and Bingley being on 93 and Keighley 92, promotion could well be decided next weekend as the lower division teams have an extra match to play then.
Opening bat Richard Nichols - man of the match in Bingley's Priestley Cup final victory two weekends ago - misses tomorrow's home match against Manningham Mills, but returns on Sunday at Bowling Old Lane.
Taking his place tomorrow is Amar Rashid, who made 151 for Bingley seconds last Saturday at home to Idle.
On Sunday, Saltaire are at Morley and Bankfoot entertain Lightcliffe.
Keighley are at home to Manningham Mills.
Matches start at 12.30pm both tomorrow and Sunday, then revert to noon for the rest of the season.
