A key figure in Bradford's business world has been named as a business ambassador for The Prince of Wales.
Speaking at the Business in the Community Awards for Excellence yesterday, Prince Charles, president of Business in the Community, named David Anderson, former chief executive of Yorkshire Building Society and now chief executive of Job Centre Plus, as the organisation's ambassador for Yorkshire and Humber.
"As founder chairman of Bradford Cares in 2001, David has given so much of his time and support to the cause of employee volunteering, both in his own business and in persuading other businesses to work together in Bradford," he said.
