A man was taken to hospital with burns after using petrol to light a bonfire in his garden.
The 24 year-old was hurt in a flashback as he used the fuel to start the fire outside his home in Elmfield Drive, Odsal, on Saturday afternoon.
A crew from Odsal fire station gave him first aid at the scene until an ambulance arrived.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with burns to his face, neck and hands. He remained conscious and his condition was not thought to be serious.
Station Officer Glenn Brown, of Odsal fire station, said the man had been trying to burn garden rubbish.
He warned against using any flammable liquids, especially petrol, to start fires.
