ONE NATIONAL League Division Two game remains. One final push needed. One last effort to try overhaul leaders Sheffield Eagles and second placed Chorley Lynx to finish the season and enter the play-offs at the top of the tree.
Keighley Cougars travel to Gateshead on Sunday for their last National League fixture of the season and will desperately try to claim the two points that could see them regain top spot in the league at its final stage.
And assistant coach Paul Moses is optimistic they can end the season with another win after last weekend's victory at Swinton.
He said: "We just need to give a good performance.
"That is all we have to worry about and then the result will look after itself."
Although Moses is confident the Cougars can claim both points from their trip to the north east, he is less confident results elsewhere will go Keighley's way.
"I don't expect the top two teams to lose their games," he added.
"I think they (Sheffield and Chorley) will both win so we will just have to wait and see what happens."
But Gary Moorby's men can rest assured that Gateshead Thunder will also be out to spoil the party as coach Paul Fletcher bows out after two years in side of the side.
He's asked for his charges to "play their hearts out" against Keighley and make sure he can leave on a high note after a season of struggle that has brought only three wins in 17 games so far.
One thing is certain, Keighley will be keen to avoid the second half jitters and lack of cohesion seen in last weekend's 19-17 away against Swinton.
Despite going into the half-time break with a commanding 18-3 lead at Swinton's Moor Lane, the Cougars somewhat lost their way in the second half and found themselves pegged back to 19-17 at the end after a late burst from the hosts.
And although that burst may have come a little too late in the day to truly trouble Keighley, they must be sure to keep on top of Gateshead Thunder on Sunday and kill the game off if and when they get the chance.
Added Moses: "I am very confident about the game. I think the belief in the side is coming back again.
"It has been improving game by game over the last few weeks and the players are confident of a win this weekend."
And although Keighley's second in command is hopeful of success on Sunday, he did point out that there were areas of their game the players need to concentrate on.
"We just have to be careful of the little things we need to improve on," added Moses.
"We can't afford to give penalties away and we need to make sure we keep our composure during the game like we have done before.
"Gateshead are a tough side and it will be a tough game. They like to throw the ball around and have some decent players so we cant afford to be complacent about anything."
Keighley travel to Gateshead on Sunday with injury worries surrounding Richard Mervill and Chris Wainwright.
Mervill is still suffering the effects of a dead leg while Wainwright is having trouble with his knee.
Moses said both players were doubtful and rated their chances at 60-40 to miss the game.
l Meanwhile, a supporters coach will be leaving Cougar Park for Gateshead at 8am on Sunday as there is a Gateshead v Cougar fans game at 11am.
Anyone wishing to go on the bus or to play in the match should call Richard Greasley on 07946 023435.
