A Shipley pub is sending out a charity lifeline by launching a fundraising appeal for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The air ambulance will put in a special guest appearance at a fun day at the Halfway House pub in Otley Road, on Saturday to help get the appeal off the ground.
The family fun starts at 11am with face painting, a bouncy castle, a magician and a football penalty shoot-out in the pub's new indoor five-a-side football pitch.
Adults will get a chance to let their hair down on the night when the pub hosts an Emergency 999 Party with prizes for anyone who turns up in uniform.
Pub manager Simon Lewis said: "We are hoping to raise a lot of money throughout the year. The air ambulance is a much needed service which has already responded to over 2,000 call-outs."
