Pupil power will have its say in how a new £40,000 village playground is set up.
The 97 pupils at Stanbury Primary School are to vote on which of four alternative schemes they would like.
The ballot will take place on Friday, October 24, the day after villagers have had their chance to see the alternatives at a public meeting in the school.
The project is being funded by Bradford Council's parks and landscape department and will replace old and dilapidated recreational ground equipment.
The four schemes have gone on display in the school hall so the children can scrutinise the ideas and make up their minds.
Conservative Worth Valley councillor Kris Hopkins said: "The idea is that rather than adults saying this is what you will get, we are giving the children opportunity to say what they would like.
"All the designs are excellent, so I look forward to seeing which one the children choose."
Head teacher Graham Swinbourne said: "It's very important for the children to be consulted.
"We already have a school council where they make decisions on the development of the school."
Ian Day, of the council parks and landscape department, said: "All the designs are very strong and we didn't feel we could separate them and on that basis we decided to let the children decide for themselves."
Work is expected to start on the selected design in the new year.
