Industry has already borrowed £200,000 from Bradford Metropolitan Council, and there is a further £282,000 in the pipeline, Councillor Donald Pollard, Assistant Lord Mayor and chairman of the council's Industry and Commerce Panel, told Bradford Rotary Club. Thier loans to industry scheme was a great success, he said.
