A perverted sex attacker laughed in Court as a distraught schoolgirl tearfully told how he attacked her.
Stefan Zap, 31, became "visibly excited and tense" as his 14-year-old victim gave evidence about the assault.
Jailing him for two years, Recorder Andrew Kershaw, sitting at Bradford Crown Court, told Zap: "You appeared to be gaining some gratification from the description of your behaviour towards her. When she became distressed and cried during her evidence, you laughed."
Recorder Kershaw said Zap's conduct during the trial suggested the risk he posed to others was not a small one.
He added: "I take the view that your attitude towards women, and young girls in particular, is a disturbing one."
Zap pounced on the schoolgirl in April last year when the 14-year-old - who cannot be identified for legal reasons - was sitting on a wall with three friends.
Zap, who had no previous convictions for sex offences, jumped out from nearby bushes and pinned the terrified youngster to the ground with his hand over her mouth. The court heard how the teenager's friends struggled to pull Zap away as he indecently assaulted her.
Recorder Kershaw said Zap, of Sunn-ingdale, Fairweather Green, persisted in the attack despite the efforts of the girl's friends and the fact that the alarm had been raised at the school.
Even when the girl broke free Zap grabbed her again and during the ordeal she suffered a cut lip and bruised wrist.
Zap was convicted in July of offences of indecent assault and assault, and Recorder Kershaw said the attack had caused humiliation and fear. But he accepted it had been an isolated offence.
He said Zap would be a vulnerable prisoner, but added the custodial sentence was intended to deter him from behaving in that way again.
Zap will have to register as a sex offender for ten years.
