A travelling musical duo fired the imagination of pupils at a Silsden school.
Travelling by Tuba visited Aire View Infants School to give a musical performance, including the 1812 Overture complete with a cannon firing streamers across the hall.
The pupils also had the chance to try out some of the instruments, ranging from a conch shell to an American sousaphone and accompanied some of the tunes on percussion.
Music teacher Sally Brown, who organised the visit, said: "The performance was excellent. The children learnt about the history of some instruments and how they have developed over time.
"They also had an insight into the way they work and saw how the size of the instrument affects its pitch.
"There was lots of audience participation, which took place with great enthusiasm."
