Matthew Eager and Zoe Clark were among high-achieving classmates from Tong School to collect awards at the school's annual presentation night.
Hundreds of students who had gained success in GCSE and A-level exams returned to the school to collect certificates, which were handed out by guest speaker Margaret Coleman, boss of the Learning and Skills Council for West Yorkshire. Matthew, above, who gained an A for AS geography, entertained the gathering with a musical solo.
Zoe,also pictured, now in Year 12, achieved above expectations in her GCSE exams this summer and was described as exceptionally conscientious.
