Keighley Ladies threw everything at Ossett in the closing stages, but could not get an equaliser and went down to a 5-4 defeat.
They got off to a dream start when Becky Granger scored in the first three minutes, Ossett soon equalised and added a second. Just before half time Michelle Harrison crossed to the far post from a corner and the ball took a deflection off an Ossett defender to bring the scores level.
Keighley got the upper hand 10 minutes into the second half with Fatima Khatun powering her way through from the edge of the 18-yard box to score in the far corner.
Ossett drew level again and both teams stepped up a gear looking for a fourth goal. Keighley won a free kick 25 yards out an Michelle Harrison stepped up to curl the ball into the net only to see the keeper parry the ball to the feet of Fatima Khatun who tapped the ball in from four yards.
Once again Ossett equalised an soon took the lead with Keighley unable to get a share of the points as time ran out.
On Sunday they play Knaresborough at Marley (ko 2pm).
Keighley Under-17s went down 5-0 to Farsley.
