SIXTEEN-Year-Old Martin Shellabear has enjoyed an incredible first season in the world of clay pigeon shooting.
The Parkside School pupil has gone from strength to strength after starting in the sport 12 months ago.
He ended the season on ahigh, winning three trophies inthe Nidderdale Clay Pigeon Shooting League. He was th best Under-16, the most improved shooter overall and topped off the season by winning the Frankie Orange Trophy.
He has been given great support by his parents and has been sponsored by Richard Metcalfe Developments who paid for competition entries and Lyvale Express supplied his cartridges at a discount.
"It is a very expensive sport and if I am to make the next step up I will need to shoot more often and travel to more competitions, so I would like to hear from any cmpanies interested in helping with sponsorship," Martin said.
