After their shock defeat in the District Cup the previous week, Fairweather Green bounced back in the best possible way by ending Albion Sports' unbeaten record in the Sunday Alliance Premier Division with a 4-1 win.
Goals in the ninth and tenth minutes from John Penn and Mick Burke gave Fairweather the early impetus and a disputed penalty just before half-time - put away by Albion's Pav Singh - failed to upset Fairweather who clinched the game with further goals from Penn and Sean Durkin.
