Keighley's favourite weatherman Paul Hudson has written a book on the highs and lows of regional weather forecasting.
Weather or Not! is co-written with retired Calendar presenter Bob Rust.
Former Oakbank Grammar School pupil, Paul, 32, is now weather presenter on BBC TV's Look North and BBC local radio in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
Best known for his jazzy ties and bright blazers, he said: "The publishers did a recent survey and found that there's virtually no books on Yorkshire weather -- strange because the region has certainly suffered its fair share of freak weather over the years."
The illustrated book covers 70 years of Yorkshire's gales, blizzards, tornados and droughts. Paul said the book also detailed funny and embarrassing behind the scenes stories about working on television.
The book was available from yesterday. A book signing will take place at Reids Bookshop, Cavendish Street, Keighley, on Saturday, December 6, at 3pm.
