Gargrave fundraiser Margaret Brothers has given a cash boost to another local charity. Eighty-two-year-old Mrs Brothers, of Sharphaw View, is well-known in the village for her fundraising and has donated to numerous local charities and good causes across the district over the past 12 years. This time it was the turn of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which was presented with a cheque for £2,400. The funds were raised through Mrs Brothers bric-a-brac stalls in the village hall and under the summer seat in Gargrave, which she holds every Saturday throughout the summer.
