The partner of the woman killed in an early-morning crash in Keighley has spoken of her grief.

Louise Adel Thomas said Tracey Taylor, 32, was the most wonderful woman she had ever met.

"She was so full of fun. I wouldn't have changed anything about her," she said.

Miss Taylor died on Tuesday when her car was in a four-vehicle collision in South Street. Passers-by battled to revive her after pulling her from her Hyundai.

She was a social worker at Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax.

Miss Taylor met Ms Thomas, a 29-year-old nurse at Airedale General Hospital, through the internet six months ago.

She said: "You always felt really privileged to be in her company."

Miss Taylor was about to move from Leeds to Keighley to Ms Thomas's house, which she shares with her two sons, Philip, seven, and Matthew, four. She said the boys were devastated by the death.

"She fitted so much in with the lads in the six months she knew them. They thought the world of her," she said.

Miss Taylor was born and raised in Newcastle. She moved to Chester to complete a health and social care degree, then qualified as a social worker at Leeds Metropolitan University in July. She was due to graduate this month.

A keen traveller, she had backpacked around Europe, Australia and Thailand. She had just come back from a holiday in Rhodes with Ms Thomas and her sons.

Ms Thomas said: "I would just like to thank the people who tried to help Tracey on the day of the accident. I am ever so grateful. They tried their best."

Miss Taylor's mother, who lives in Australia, is coming over for the funeral, which is planned for Wednesday at The Knowle Chapel of Rest.
