REMBRANCE Services will be taking place all over Wharfedale on Sunday as people come together to commemorate the sacrifices made in the country's past wars.
In Ilkley, Bradford's Lord Mayor Allan Hillary will join Parish Council chairman Kate Brown in a procession leaving the police station in Riddings Road at 2.40pm.
The procession will make its way down the Grove to the Memorial Gardens for a wreath laying ceremony at 3pm.
In Burley-in-Wharfedale, wre-aths will be laid in the parish church, St Mary's, during a service which begins at 10.45pm. Following the service, the wreaths will be taken down to the war memorial at Grange Park around 12pm.
In Addingham, the service at St Peter's Parish Church will take place at 11am and the wreath laying ceremony will take place at the war memorial on Main Street at 12noon.
Councillor Sheila Hamilton will lay the wreath on behalf of Addingham Parish Council.
In Menston, there will be a service at St John's Parish Church at 10.30am, where wreaths will be laid. They will be later taken to the War Memorial at Kirklands.
At Otley, the Town Mayor Councillor Nigel Francis will be joined by fellow councillors, ex-servicemen and representatives from other groups at the Civic Centre at 2pm.
A parade will then march to All Saints Parish Church, in Kirkgate, for a 2.30pm Remembrance Service, which will be followed by the laying of wreaths in the Memorial Gardens, in Bondgate.
The Royal British Legion's Bramhope branch, meanwhile, will assemble at the Robert Craven Memorial Hall in the village at 10.30am on Sunday.
They will be joined by Guides, Brownies, Scouts and Cubs for a parade to the Cenotaph, where they will be joined by the parish council for a short service.
Following the two minute silence and laying of wreaths the parade will proceed to St Giles Church for the full Remembrance Day Service.
