A man and a youth were today due to appear before Bradford magistrates, charged with the murder of care worker Tarquin Turner.
The pair, aged 20 and 17, were charged last night after questioning by a team of detectives led by Detective Superintendent Phil Sedgwick .
Mr Turner, 31, below, of Eccleshill, Bradford, a 5ft tall slightly built man, was walking to Undercliffe Cricket Club for a night out on Thursday, October 23, when he was attacked on a footpath and beaten to death.
Mr Turner, who was a member of the club, worked for eight years as a care assistant at St Catherine's Hospital in St Mary's Road, Manningham, Bradford, where he helped to look after elderly people.
Detectives were today also questioning two men aged 30 and 18, and a 40-year-old woman, over an allegation of perverting the course of justice in connection with the inquiry.
