Lothersdale's David Adams and Keith Wilkinson looked to have the odds stacked against them when the club was unable to field a full side against Embassy A.

However, the underdogs rose to the challenge and dispatched the Bingley team with aplomb. Wilkinson defeated Palminder Sandhu 11-6, 11-3, 3-11, 11-6; Peter Kitching 11-2, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7 and Nick Kaye 11-1, 11-5, 7-11, 11-7 with Adams repeating the trick, 7-11, 11-6, 15-13, 5-11, 12-10 against Sandhu; 11-0, 11-3, 17-15 against Kitching and 11-3, 12-14, 11-9, 11-5 against Kaye. A final doubles win for the two Lothersdale heroes against Sandhu and Kitching ensured them a 7-3 success.

Red Rose B and Nemesis B enjoyed an entertaining encounter at Lothersdale. Rose's Peter Wood played well for a max that included the defeat of Tom Sampson 10-12, 11-3, 10-12, 11-7, 11-8. Team mate David Ayrton also did the full house, along the way getting the better of Les Packer 10-12, 12-10, 11-9, 9-11, 11-7. Nemesis registered points through Sampson who defeated Michael Wrigley 3-11, 11-9, 11-6, 2-11, 15-13; Dave Manogue who got the better of the same player and the doubles where Wrigley and Ayrton finally succumbed to Manogue and Sampson 6-11, 11-8, 11-7, 6-11, 12-10 to leave the final score 7-3in favour of the Lancastrians.

In Division Two, Airedale Terriers visited the Ambassadors lair and came away with the spoils. Mark Emmott looks to be back to his best following a treble that included the defeat of Mick Czuba 6-11, 11-7, 11-9, 15-13. Team mates Tom Lacey and Stuart Myers weighed in with a pair apiece with Myers' 8-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-7 bettering of Czuba being top class. Thankfully for the Bingley team the returning Steve Crossland displayed touches of brilliance to earn his sides points with wins against Lacey and Myers as his team stuttered to an 8-2 defeat.

Ilkley Road B, determined to stay in this Division following their promotion, surprised Wilsden with a tenacious display that ensured the Riddlesden team a home draw. Nick Emblem proved how quickly his talent is developing with a couple that included the defeat of Luke Broadbent 11-3, 11-7, 2-11, 4-11, 11-9. Steve Fuller, playing for the first time following a lengthy lay-off, also got the better of Luke and then followed it up with a win against Dave Broadbent 11-9, 11-8, 11-6. An 11-9, 13-15, 11-7, 6-11, 11-5 win for Rob McLean against Luke finished the scoring for the hosts. Adam Broadbent played excellently to keep his team in it with his full house containing the defeat of Fuller 9-11, 8-11, 11-4, 11-7, 13-11.

Twelve from twelve is the faultless return for the Division's leading player Martin Connolly following another impressive display from leaders Lothersdale B. Visiting Johnson & Johnson they wasted no time in displaying their superiority as Connolly defeated John Pullen 11-9, 13-11, 11-13, 11-7 on his way to a max. David Galley also earned full points for his team and only a Pullen victory against Peter Midgley 7-11, 11-9, 14-16, 11-6, 11-7 prevented a complete rout for the Gargrave boys as the visitors stretched their lead at the top to 12 points.

The Ryan Foulds master plan seems to be working this season as his team Stockbridge Spartans look down commandingly on all others, barring the aforementioned Lothersdale B. This week it was Munza Nazir who led the way for the Spartans with three home wins against Cononley Sports. His 12-10, 10-12, 11-5, 11-6 defeat of Paul Lister set the tone. Abid Hussain and Foulds both weighed in with a couple including Hussain's bettering of Stuart Maude 11-9, 8-11, 13-11, 11-4. Maude and Lister won some consolation for the visitors with wins against Foulds and Hussain respectively but could not stop their team from being overrun 8-2 by the revitalized Spartans.

In Division Three Ilkley Road C hold on to top spot despite losing their second game in four. This week St Wilf's B left Riddlesden with a 7-3 victory tucked under their belts. Debebrata Deb was magnificent for the Gilstead team displaying super skills on his way to a full house. Support came in the form of a couple for William Lister against Jonathan and Matthew Nutting 2-10, 14-12, 11-6, 11-5. David Anderson also grabbed the scalp of Jonathan Nutting, but he couldn't handle Matthew Nutting who marked his league debut with a well deserved win over the St Wilf's player 11-7, 8-11, 2-11, 11-9, 11-8.

Crossflatts jump from third to second and within three points of the leaders following a good win at home to Haworth. Danny McHugh registered his eighth win from nine with a full house that included the defeat of Dave Ogden 10-12, 11-4, 11-4, 11-4. John Patrick also grabbed a max, along the way beating Steve Cole 10-12, 11-8, 11-9, 11-7. The points for the visitors came from Cole and Nathan Hogg who both got the better of Anthony Mann in and 8-2 scoreline.
