A woman has died two days after she was carried by firefighters from a blaze at her home.
The 28-year-old woman, who has not yet been named, died at a specialist burns unit in Newcastle.
She had been found in the front room of a terraced house in Frank Street, Great Horton, at about 5am last Thursday after a neighbour saw flames and raised the alarm.
Firefighters from Odsal station had to smash a window to get to the woman and then carried her out of the house.
She was originally taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary but later transferred to the specialist unit in Newcastle where she died on Saturday.
Police were today still investigating how she suffered the extensive burns to her head and body.
They believe it is possible she set fire to herself deliberately but are looking into whether anyone else was involved.
Following the fire, investigators found traces of an accelerant in the badly damaged ground floor of the house.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the Bradford Coroner had been informed and the post-mortem examination had been arranged to take place in Bradford today.
"Police liaison officers are in contact with the deceased woman's family and inquiries are ongoing," he said.
The investigation is being headed by Detective Insp-ector Stephen Bottomley, of Bradford CID.
An inquest into the woman's death will be held.
