Eccleshill United Sunday progressed to the third round of the Amateur Cup with a 6-3 extra-time victory over Buttershaw White Star Reserves.

Two goals from Jamie Bagshaw and one from Lawrence Scrimshaw sealed Eccleshill's win after the sides had been locked at 3-3 after 90 minutes.

Adam Godfrey bagged a brace and Warren Kershaw and Adam Thornton added one apiece as Drop Kick 2003 knocked Barley Mow Buttershaw out 4-2.

Wibsey Park was the venue for an eventful mid-table Division 2B clash between Park Hotel and Towngate Athletic.

Graham Hammond opened Towngate's account with a 20-yard drive following good work in midfield before man-of-the-match Alex Butterfield doubled their advantage following a fine run.

Park Hotel threw everything at Towngate in the second half but only had a Paul Tarran header to show for their efforts as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

Ventus Sports mainatined their unbeaten record with a 6-0 win over Fagley, while Keighley Juniors were too strong for AFC Chellow B as they eased to a 3-1 win.

Paul Kelly was on song for Greengates Albion, scoring five of his side's goals as they beat TNO Cleaning Services 9-1, while QCs Reserves notched up another win, beating Horton Raiders 4-1.
