Keighley-based Link Telecom has been appointed the region's only authorised sales outlet for an upgraded version of a product dubbed "Blackberry".
The powerful hand-held device allows users to send and receive e-mails, and more effectively manage their business calendar and contacts, while away from the office.
Link Telecom managing director Mike Bower said: "This wireless extension of a desktop PC is far easier to use than a laptop computer, yet retains an in-built ability to communicate automatically with a PC or mobile phone.
"The upgraded unit now has a colour screen and a number of additional benefits, including a tri-band facility, which allows e-mails to be sent or received from anywhere in the world.
"We believe the new product will particularly appeal to the SME sector companies which feel they could benefit from sending or receiving instant e-mails in any location while out of the office. There is no need to dial up and go online through an Internet provider as incoming or outgoing messages are transmitted automatically.
"We are currently offering corporate users a free 30-day trial on up to ten Blackberry units and our corporate support team can arrange in-house demonstrations."
