Billing specialist Lexicon is celebrating its sponsorship deal with the Castrol Honda Superbike team after success at the recent European leg of the championship.
Castrol Honda rider Colin Edwards closed the gap on championship leader Troy Bayliss to 39 points after winning both of Sunday's races.
The Brands Hatch win means that the championship is wide open and could go down to the last round in Italy in September.
Tim Delahay, managing director of Shipley-based Lexicon, said: "Lexicon is proud to be able to partner the Castrol Honda team as, much like Lexicon, their success has come about through hard work and determination.
"All the team at Lexicon is excited to be involved and hopes that Colin can take the championship."
Lexicon is the official media communications supplier of the Castrol Honda Superbike team and the Honda World Supersport Team.
The two-year deal will see Lexicon - part of the Adare Printing Group - provide the team with its essential communication requirements for the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
Mr Delahay added: "The sponsorship came about through Lexicon recognising the many synergies between the Castrol Honda team and Lexicon and its market.
"The sport's fast-moving nature and use of technology is a perfect parallel to the latest technology and web-based applications Lexicon is using, such as our new electronic billing presentment product BillNow."
Chris Herring, marketing manager of the Castrol Honda team, said: "We are very pleased that a company with Lexicon's reputation is one of our active partners as they share the same forward-looking ethos as the Castrol Honda team. We are aiming to build upon our success in the remainder of the season and are looking forward to sharing this success with Lexicon."
