RBR Insurance Group has helped the Bradford Bulls launch its new financial services package.

The Ilkley firm, which is made up of an insurance broking division and a financial services division, came up with Bradford Bulls Financial Services which aims to provide products for Bulls fans and their families.

BBFS officially launched at the Bulls match against rivals Leeds Rhinos on August 2.

The service, which includes competitive deals on mortgages, loans, life assurance, healthcare plans and savings accounts, has been designed to benefit fans and the club.

RBR managing director Mark Minton said: "RBR has had strong links with the Bulls for some time now.

"The fans are always looking for new ways to support their club and the success of such packages for Premiership football clubs has shown that this is a great way to offer value-added services to supporters.

"We have a superior range of products to offer and first-class financial advice to go with them."

Bulls chairman Chris Caisley added: "We have an incredibly loyal and supportive fan base and part of our job as a club is to create an environment where we can offer opportunities that can't be found elsewhere.

"We have already seen the successful launch of the holiday club and the savings account, and now we have Bradford Bulls Financial Services.

"Most people need mortgages, loans and other financial plans and BBFS is a hassle-free and money-saving way for fans and their families to get the best deals.

"Importantly, the club also benefits from additional funds for its hugely successful and popular community activities."

Mr Caisley said the fact that the Bulls could launch a brand like this during a time of uncertainty for the club was a tribute to Bradford Bulls fans and re-affirmed confidence in the club's future.

BBFS contains products from various firms including Bristol & West, Norwich Union, Intelligent Finance, Sovereign Healthcare and Yorkshire Building Society.

The club receives a donation for each plan that is taken out under the scheme, which will be used towards community projects.
