Fabulous Elvis prizes are up for grabs for the winners of a charity contest to find the best impersonator of the King.
"Rockin' in the Chapel" takes place at St Margaret's Church, Ilkley, on Friday, August 16 - the 25th anniversary of the King's death.
Sixty per cent of the proceeds will go to the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Can... Cancer Research Appeal towards fighting the disease in the city. The other 40 per cent will go to the church's New Parish Hall Project.
Prizes will be on offer for the best Elvis on the night, with first prize two tickets to The Elvis Collection at Leeds Grand Theatre on September 1. This tribute act has toured performing the King's best known hits and will play more than 30 tunes.
The winner will go backstage at the concert and meet the stars of the show, including Elvis himself, frontman Billy J McGregor.
He's joined on stage by his experienced band, singers the Fenner Sisters and musical director Alan Wearmouth.
Second prize will be an Elvis Collection CD, t-shirt and a glossy brochure featuring pictures of the act.
There's still time to sign up for the contest, joining 11-year-old mini-Elvis Jessica Meehan, who was among the first to put her name down. The pint-sized popstrel found success at an Elvis impersonators contest at the White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds.
She came third out of 52 competitors, winning a CD player, gift vouchers and toys and is now looking forward to the Ilkley event.
Any would-be Elvises who want to take part should contact the Bradford Can... appeal office on (01274) 235482. Participants are being urged to get into the spirit by pulling on tight trousers or a spangly jumpsuit.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and entry costs £4. There is no charge for competitors.
"Rockin' In The Chapel" is the brainchild of St Margaret's Church member Hugh Little, along with Father Richard Hoyal - both Elvis fans. Elvis was a devout Christian, whose favourite book was The Bible.
As well as helping the Bradford Can... appeal to raise £1 million for cancer research at Bradford University and Bradford Royal Infirmary, the event will help raise cash towards £280,000 needed for the church's new parish hall.
