Oakworth are locked in a dogfight with Embsay in the battle for the championship - and showed no mercy on a make-shift Haworth side last weekend.
Thirteen players from the Haworth club were away in Dublin as Jamie Rowell celebrated his 'stag party' and the Oaks savaged their stand-in attack.
Robert Hopkinson scored 157, Michael Scarborough added 84 and Steve Hartley raced to 74 as they hammered the home side's attack to all parts of the ground before the innings was declared in the last over with the score on 357-3.
The Cure Hill side then took the opportunity to give some of their backup bowlers the chance to shine. Jamie Pennington responded by taking 6-28 as Haworth were dismissed for 130.
Leaders, Embsay, entertained Pendle Forest and gave them a very testing time. The homesters plundered 231-7 off the Fence side's attack with Mick Cox making 65 and David Robinson 64. Duncan Ward chipped in with 30 as Nick Daniels took 4-73 and James Thackray 3-64. The visitors' reply was in tatters as early as the third over when the score stood at 3-3. Wickets fell regularly and they were all out for 93. Phil Swarbrick top scored with 32 as Rob Cowley took 4-12 and Cox 3-37.
Third placed Barrowford are clinging on seven points adrift of the leaders and they clattered 208-9 of Cullingworth's attack at the Bull Holme. Neal Hargreaves top scored with 47 as Dave Robinson claimed 6-51. The visitors were hustled out for 71 with John Hargreaves taking 4-23 and A Cormack 3-13.
Skipton CI are fourth after inflicting another defeat on bottom side Foulridge up at Noyna.
Bradley scored a welcome win at home to Thornton although it was a close run thing. The home side batted first and made 179-4. The highlight being century number 16 for Neil Andrews who scored 108no. The Booth Bridge Lane side's reply started in fine style with youngster Simon Bailey 69 and Kevin Pollard putting on 115 for the first wicket. However it was then a struggle and the innings closed just three runs short, with the last six wickets falling for just 10 runs. A Laycock finished with 3-27.
In the basement struggled, Long Lee travelled to Cowling and struggled to 132-9 against the bowling of Steve Mitchell, 4-30, and David Batty 4-48. However they came away with the spoils as Paul Swindlehurst 6-42 put the skids under the homesters who perished for 108.
Haworth West End's lead at the top of Division Two moved to three points as they won at Cononley and Sutton and Ingrow St John's tied at Street Lane.
The leaders made a modest 142 as A Starkey took 4-20 and Matthew Town 4-47. The home side replied with 104 as D Peel 4-34 and Damian Bailey 3-31 did the business.
Darren Wild 5-47 and David Holdsworth 5-28 had Ingrow St John's back in the hut for 115. Then despite 51 from Paul Hardaker the visitors had to settle for a couple of points as the scores ended level.
Sutton stay second with the Saints in third place, two points behind.
A further two points behind come Denholme who demolished Gargrave. The visitors plundered 212-9 and the home side could only muster 83 in reply.
Chatburn got the better of Jimmy Nelson's by six wickets. The Ribble Valley stars were John Lockley with 5-35 and Peter Rowson who made 31.
Airedale comprehensively beat visitors Carleton by nine wickets.
There was a high scoring game at Glusburn where Ingrow were the visitors. The Keighley side batted first and made 224-8 with W Exley scoring 86 and Phil Sharpe 51 as Mark Pickles took 3-54. The home side blasted back and reached their target with four wickets and 11 balls to spare.
The two Cowling Cup finalists head the Division Three with Embsay having a seven-point lead over Barrowford.
The leaders were over at Pendle Forest and came away with an eight-wicket win.
Meanwhile Barrowford were at Cullingworth and blasted 219-8 with David Wilkinson scoring 59 and N Burton 58. The home side went down to a 106 run defeat.
Thornton are a further three points behind after beating Bradley by five wickets at Booth Bridge Lane. The visitors went first and made 138 with J Simpson top scoring with 66 as Rob Cockell 5-45 and Malcolm Holt 5-55 shared the wickets. Jeff Tipler guided the homesters to victory as Ashley Walmsley claimed 4-56.
Oakworth moved into fourth spot after a good win over Haworth. They rattled up 209-6 with S Powell scoring 81. In the Bronte side's reply of 158-9, Glen Ogden scored 43.
There was a low scoring game at Long Lee where visitors Cowling were dismissed for 88 with John Tetley taking 7-38. His skipper Paul McCullough then held things together with 40 as the reply stuttered home by three wickets.
Glusburn struggled to 120-9 at Skipton CI with evergreen veteran George Garland top scoring with 39 as John Stuttard claimed 5-36. CI skipper Nigel Carr steered his side to the points with a fine knock of 65. The winning margin being four wickets.
Ingrow St John's continue their good form at the top of Division Four with the gap over second placed Chatburn remaining six points.
The Saints blasted 237-7 off Sutton's attack. Imran making a fine 103no as Neil Robson took 4-51, Khaksar took 4-1 as Sutton were dismissed for 91.
Chatburn travelled to Pendle Forest III and made 232-7 with A Lambert hitting 53no, C Waddington 51 and S Turner 50no. The homesters were brushed aside for 55 with Russell Braithwaite taking 5-21.
Airedale are still in the running for promotion, just a point behind Chatburn.
Their usual free scoring batsmen were restricted to 141-9 against Long Lee III. They reply petered out at 125.
Ian Herbert 50no and Tim Hodgson 6-11 were the stars of Ingrow's 8-wicket victory at home to Foulridge.
Denholme were far too strong for visitors Gargrave - winning by 112 runs. R Taylor 56 and C Flanagan were the stars with the bat. A Quirie was the best of eight bowlers used, finishing with 3-16 off 10 overs.
Finally Keighley TC beat Cononley by four wickets at Rose Cottage.
