SKIPPER Richard Robinson could hold the key to Keighley Cricket Club's fortunes in Sunday's Heavy Woollen Cup final.
The Lawkholme Lane side face their biggest game for years when they take on Bradford League first division side Baildon at Liversedge.
And the game will have extra edge because Robinson was playing with Baildon last year, before returning to Keighley.
Former Keighley player Paul Spragg will also be in the Baildon line-up, giving the game added spice.
"It should be a superb game. We are running a bus to the game and there are just a few places left for spectators, and we know many more people will travel to the game by car," said club secretary Mike Parker.
There is also an outside chance that England bowler Matthew Hoggard could be in the Baildon team.
"Yorkshire don't have a game on Sunday and he is signed on to play with the club, but we are ready for anything," Mike Parker said.
Lee Gordon will miss the game as he is a member of the Keighley Rugby Union Colts team which is currently touring South Africa. His place will be taken by the club's second team captain Jamie Robinson who has proved to be a very useful performer when called into the first team squad earlier in the season.
"It is fantastic to reach the final of a major competition like the Heavy Woollen Cup, but now everyone at the club wants to see us take that extra step and bring the trophy back to Keighley," Mr Parker said.
