England international goalkeeper Rachelle Houldsworth is heading for Canada this month to represent England in the FIFA Under-19 Women's World Cup.
Rachelle, who has just turned 18, is one of two goalkeepers named in a squad of 18 who fly out to British Columbia on Saturday, August 10.
The England team will have a week to get over the effects of jet-lag before starting the group stages.
England are in Group C alongside the United States, Australia and Chinese Taipei. There are three groups of four with eight teams to qualify for the quarter-final stages starting on August 24. The final is scheduled for September 1 in Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium, venue for the Commonwealth Games in 1978.
England's group matches are all being played at the Sentinel Stadium in Victoria and they will face tournament favourites USA on Saturday, August 17; Chinese Taipei on Monday, August 19, and Australia on Wednesday, August 21.
Former Oakbank School girl Rachelle is currently playing for Sheffield Wednesday Ladies.
