Bradford's Dudley Hill's player-coach Chris Robinson today said he was overjoyed at the prospect of facing his old club Keighley Cougars in the Powergen Challenge Cup.

The sides will meet at Parry Lane in the third round on the weekend of February 7-8, and Robinson - in the days of Cougarmania - said: "It's the best possible draw there could have been."

Robinson said that Hill had decided against switching the tie, saying: "We are already putting plans in place to stage the match."

Hill have recently staged a cup-tie against Dewsbury Rams and attracted a crowd of about 2,000.

Cougars coach Gary Moorby said Robinson had called him as soon as the draw was out.

"It's certainly a big game for Dudly Hill and for Chris himself. He's very excited about it," said Moorby.

"We'll have to be prepared for it. They are well and truly into their season and we'll only have played one game when we play them, so they'll be looking to catch us cold.

"I don't suppose we'll be losing any sleep over them but we'll show them the respect they deserve.

"It's a massive occasion for an amateur club. They'll be playing their hearts out and we'll be mindful of that. We won't be taking it lightly."
