Bradford Junior Chamber of Commerce careers seminar is taking place in February, and the Careers Advisory Service will be responsible for the administration of the project. However, the Junior Chamber has agreed to organise the "opening session", which will involve (by request from the careers teachers) a couple of short talks by young "professionals" on the two most popular career choices of this seminar.

Bradford's muslim population of between 900 and 1,000 Indians, Pakistanis, Africans, Arabians and Indonesians, are hoping soon to have their own place of worship and meeting room. They want to buy a big house in the city and convert it into a Mosque. A fund has been started and the man behind this move is Mr M.F. Hussain, president and secretary of the Bradford Muslim Association.
