Chairman Chris Caisley says the Bulls will have no excuses if they aren't fired up for the coming season.

Caisley is delighted with an early-season programme that will see the Bulls play the World Club Challenge final against Penrith, a Grand Final re-match against Wigan and a Challenge Cup tie inside the first three weeks.

"It's a tough start but we are looking forward to it. It gets the players focused.

"They are well aware that we won't be able to start off in anything other than top gear."

The season-ending international Tri-Series should also be a source of inspiration for a squad packed full of Britain and Kiwi internationals.

"I think the Tri-Series will be good," added Caisley. "We should all get behind it and see if we can bring home the bacon this time.

"There are going to be some changes in the Great Britain team and there is a great opportunity this coming season for some young kids to force their way through.

"We reckon we've got a few players who will be hoping to step up to full international level in time to get a place in that team."

Bradford's seven Kiwis could also play a crucial part in the internationals, he said.

"New Zealand would be daft not to consider them if they are playing well. They are used to the conditions and the environment over here. You'd imagine that if Robbie Paul or Lesley Vainikolo or any of the other boys are going well they'll get a start.

"So there's a great incentive for them to play well next year."
