It will be all work and no play for the Bulls when they fly out to Portugal on January 8 for ten days of warm-weather training.
Joining the squad will be new signings Paul Johnson, Logan Swann - who flies in from Australia on Sunday - and Toa Kohe-Love, who is recovering from a shoulder injury.
The massive sports complex at Vilamoura on the Portuguese Algarve is well-equipped for training breaks and was the pre-season destination for the club last year.
The Bulls will welcome a break from the freezing conditions here, although captain Robbie Paul, pictured, was quick to point out the players are there for one reason - and it is not topping up their tans or partying.
"We will live, eat and breathe rugby league while we are out there," he said. "The conditions mean we can spend longer outside and train our bodies into the ground.
"In just a few days away we can cover a month's work.
"We are definitely not there for the sun, and any way, it is the middle of winter over there at the moment, and there are hardly any bars so there are no distractions with regards nightlife."
Paul said he was also looking forward to working with his new team-mates.
"Going abroad will give us the chance to fuse together as a squad. It is not easy to come into a new set-up and it will give us all a chance to get to know each other and how each other play."
