A grieving fiancee has spoken of the loss of her "fun-loving" boyfriend who died on a motorcycle ride.
Shareen Dosanjh said she returns daily to Knotts Ford Nook, near Otley, where Andrew Bleazard had the tragic accident.
The 25-year-old builder, of Midgley Road, Baildon, was on his first proper ride on a brand new CBR 600 Honda motorbike when he collided with a heavy goods vehicle on a bend on the A659 between Otley and Pool-in-Wharfedale.
Shareen said the last memory she had of Andrew, known to friends as "Blez", was when he left their home on Thursday, May 20, in his new leathers and helmet. "We had so much to look forward to and it hasn't sunken in yet that he's gone," said the 24-year-old travel agent.
"We were due to get married on August 13 next year and we also had our honeymoon booked in the Maldives."
The couple met four years ago at an engagement party and celebrated their own engagement last March.
Parents Ian and Linda Bleazard said they too returned daily to the spot where he died and planned to have a memorial plaque put up on the wall by the road.
"There are so many flowers there now and one of his friends has even planted a tree," said Mrs Bleazard, 50, who runs Cameo hair studio, in Leeds Road, Thackley.
"He loved to have a laugh and a joke. He had lots of friends and we've had about 200 cards, which proves how popular he was."
Andrew's parents and Shareen were taken by police to the scene where the tragedy happened.
Mrs Bleazard said: "It helped to put things straight in our minds as at first we thought he must have overtaken on a bend, but after being out there we realised his wheel must have hit something which caused him to be on the wrong side of the road."
Crowds of mourners attended Andrew's funeral, which was held at Saltaire United Reformed Church, followed by a cremation at Nab Wood Crematorium, on Wednesday, June 2.
