Burley go marching on at the top of Division B of the Airedale and Wharfedale League. Aussie Ben Harris provided Saturday's highlight with a brilliant double ton as his side racked up a score of 366-4.
Their game against third placed Silsden was dominated by the bat and Burley dropped their first point of the season as Silsden held out for the draw.
Richard Brook (71) and Harris set the tone for the match with an opening stand of 182. Harris went on to make an unbeaten 202 sharing another profitable stand with Brook's brother Nick who made 36.
Silsden then replied with 189-6 as N Robinson made an unbeaten 69 and H Sugden an unbeaten 30.
It was a day of toil for the bowlers of both sides.
Kevin Owens was in good form for bottom placed Skipton and they managed to notch their first win of the season, although it failed to take them off the bottom as their closest rivals Illingworth also had a win.
Skipton's win came over Ilkley who made 226-9 with the Kiwi Leighton Parsons again in good form with the bat making 60. There were solid contributions from Craig Rackham (39) and the Sant father and son pairing, Phil with 35 and Michael with 38.
Owens than hammered a fine 99 before being caught off the bowling of Andrew Rhodes. With opener S Carling also finding form with the bat with 51 Skipton won by three wickets.
Illingworth's Australian Mark O'Donnell hit 8 fours in an unbeaten 71 as his side rubbed off the Knaresborough score of 201-5. Knaresborough opener John Pickles hit 2 sixes and 11 fours to finish unbeaten on 96. Illingworth however went on to win with just three balls of the game remaining.
Tong Park openers Nick Murden (92) and Steve Young (98) shared a superb first wicket stand of 198. This laid the foundations for a total of 253-6 which Thackley found way beyond their means. They settled for one point from a draw with a reply of 157-8, Mick Scott taking 4-63.
Pool went down to a seven wickets defeat at home to Collingham. Pool made 199-8 with Phil Dibb leading the way with a knock of 67. Collingham however held the aces with Matthew Cooke hammering 100 and Brian Leigh 52.
