Two men were appearing before Bradford magistrates court today charged with conspiring to murder a 22-year-old man.
Zafar Iqbal, who had just got married, was found dead on a car park between rows of terraced houses off Raymond Street, West Bowling, Bradford, in January. A post mortem revealed he had been strangled.
Mr Iqbal had only moved to Bradford in November 2003 and had previously lived in Oldham.
He lived with his wife with friends in the Great Horton area of Bradford.
The men charged with conspiracy to murder are aged 23 and 39 and come from Oldham. They were arrested on January 15.
Mr Iqbal had gone out to buy cigarettes from a garage in the early hours of Sunday, January 18, at 1.30am. His body was discovered at 8.30am.
A massive inquiry was launched as police tried to piece together his movements in those seven hours before the body was discovered.
Mr Iqbal came to England in 2002 from Mirpur in Pakistan. His body was returned for the funeral service.
Eleven men and one woman, between the ages of 21 and 52, have previously been arrested in connection with the investigation.
They are currently on police bail pending further inquiries.
