Oakworth Under-17s reached 90-5 after just 16 overs but the last five wickets added just one run as Upper Wharfedale bowler Stephen Doane ran amok claiming 5-8.
Only home skipper Robert Hollingsworth got to grips with the Dales bowlers, making 33. On a night of dropped catches Oakworth shared the guilt with Wharfedale and opener A Foulds made 32no and Will Roberts 36no.
For Oxenhope's visit to Skipton Robert Pullan took a hat-trick in his 4-4 to demolish Skipton for 30. The innings contained five ducks. However Oxenhope lost 4 wickets - all also ducks - reaching the 31 mark.
Haworth was a happy hunting ground for Steeton with emerging Mark Pennington's maiden 50 the highlight, Matt Thomas backing up with 3-13. Pennington also ran out Rob Rutter (21) the one home batsman to get to grips with Steeton bowlers as they fell for 67-9, well short of the visitors 133-5 despite Jason Perry's 4-40.
Barrowford's first visit to Silsden proved as difficult and their 48-9 presented no test for the home side who, lost just one wicket claiming the points.
There was a return to winning ways in the Under-15 League with victory over Glusburn by two wickets. Glusburn opener James Wilkinson followed his brother's feat of last week with a 33no retirement, the best of the week albeit in vain.
A creditable Long Lee 93-9 at high flying Airedale wasn't enough to threaten the home side's 109-1. Josh Lewis retired for the third consecutive match and was joined by fellow opener Jake Hoyle. The league's leading wicket-taker Paul Quinlan was the main bowler to unseat the 'Golden Boys' with 4-21.
Bottom club Cowling were comprehensively beaten at top team Oxenhope who scored 199-0, and Cowling were dismissed for 33. Five Oxenhope batsmen retired; Davidson, Geraghty, Mallinson, Armitage and Pullan. For Max Davidson it was a top notch display as he added four wickets without conceding a run. Robert Pullan took 3-15.
Embsay's seven-wicket win at Haworth was lead by R Davies with 31no whilst Sean Knapper 20 and Duncan Aitchison 18no ensured a competitive match. At Sandylands the Wharfedale batsmen reached 139-7 with retirements for C Howick and L Whitham. R Martin did his best for the Skipton bowlers with 3-7 and then 31no but despite retirements for R Binner and A Baldwin the home side were 19 short of the target.
Settle's loss of early wickets didn't sway them from a hefty score either. They made 133-4 thanks to retirements for Davidson, Cockhill and M Hamer, The young Thornton side battled well but finished well adrift on 75-4.
A disastrous first knock by the out-of-form Haworth batsmen brought just 15 runs as they failed to cope with the bowling of Earby's R Robinson 4-0 and A Yates 3-2. By contrast Embsay's batsmen were in fine nick with retirements for H Bullough and L Davies in an impressive 122-5 tally against Steeton.For the South Craven side J Pearson also retiremed but his team managed just 90-7.
For Sutton the batsmen also found it hard going, making 35-7 against the Procter Homes League leaders Silsden, who grabbed a 10-wicket win. J Starkey's 25no was the cornerstone of Upper Wharfedale's 60-7 but Skipton batsmen A Hussain and O Oxley combined to claim a six-wicket win.
There were three more matches played in the Under-11 League and Cononley batsman Oliver McKinney rattled up 24no in a super team tally of 259-1, far too many for a plucky Skipton outfit. But Glusburn's R Ridehalgh went still further with 28no in a mammoth 280-1 against bottom club Sutton.
In a close encounter at Cure Hill defending Champions Oakworth failed by just three runs to halt the unbeaten run of leaders Earby.
