The Cougars could be without winger Karl Smith when they travel to Doncaster in search of a much-needed National League One victory.
Gary Moorby's Keighley side are languishing one place from the bottom of the table, with only points difference separating them and fellow strugglers Halifax and Rochdale.
All three sides have only one win and are now six points adrift of fourth-from-bottom Oldham.
With the bottom side relegated automatically and second-bottom forced to play off for First Division survival, Moorby knows his side needs to improve quickly.
He was happy with his players' effort in last week's defeat by Oldham but rued the poor decision-making and execution that cost them victory.
"We are still making silly mistakes that are ultimately costing us victories," said Moorby.
"I still believe we are capable of winning our fair share of games in this division but you have to take correct options and take your opportunities when they occur.
"At the moment that is what we are not doing. We need to learn and we need to learn pretty quickly.
"I'm getting fed up with individuals not playing as they are being asked to do. It is about following instructions and setting up game plans. Some people are doing things right and others aren't."
One bright spot for Moorby is the return to fitness of his four first-choice props.
Richard Merville scored a sensational 60-metre try against Oldham and Jamie Fielden also crossed on debut. The pair are complemented by veterans Phil Stephenson and Jason Clegg, forming a foursome Moorby believes is the equal of any in the league.
"We've got four prop forwards that are going to take some beating by any pack in our division," he said.
"If everybody did their job like those guys are doing we would be fine."
The coach is likely to switch full back Chris Beaver to the wing in place of Smith and return Chris Wainwright to the starting line-up after leaving him out against Rochdale.
