Colin Todd today praised star keeper Paul Henderson for his down-to-earth attitude.
The Australian has burst on the scene with three clean sheets in four games since signing for the Bantams on the eve of the season.
But Todd is not surprised that Henderson, whose form has confined Donovan Ricketts to the bench, has started so strongly.
He said: "Anybody who has met the boy will know he has got his house in order straight away. He is very switched on and hasn't wasted any time in getting settled in to the club.
"He has got it right off the pitch as well as on it. Paul had a car sorted out before the Shrewsbury game, he has moved out of the hotel quickly and got himself an apartment and he has settled into life here.
"But you've seen from the games so far that nothing
seems to faze him. He is handling the ball very well and looks confident."
Blackpool had Henderson on trial for a week during a pre-season tour of Northern Ireland and may regret their decision to let him go.
Todd added: "I judged him in the first game for us. You could see then that he was someone who knew what it was about."
Meanwhile, midfielder Steve Schumacher should recover from a hamstring injury in time to re-join the squad for Saturday's home game with Port Vale.
But he is likely to be given a subs' role as Todd persists with Tom Kearney alongside Lee Crooks.
Todd said: "It's a lovely problem to have. I wish there were more selection headaches like that."
