The Cobbydale club's senior side's have made the FA Woodlesford headquarters their second home in recent years and the youth side are determined to follow in their footsteps. Sandy lane are favourites to reach the final, but Silsden warmed up with a fantastic 4-1 victory over a hard working Long Lee side last weekend.

Man of the match Andrew North put Silsden ahead with a volley and increased their lead after a mix up in the Long Lee defence provided a simple tap-in opportunity. Thomas McLean got his second with another superb header to make certain of victory. Top performances came from Clark Greenwood, Adam McLean, Sam Dowgill and Luke Scott.
Silsden Under-8s A were outplayed in the first half of their top of the table clash at Gomersal who took the lead when a defensive header from a corner was glanced over the keeper.
