Albion Sports were taken to extra time by Queensbury in the outstanding quarter-final Senior League Cup game but the double-chasing league leaders ran out 4-2 winners.
After a goalless 45 minutes, Roy Stamer put Albion in front only for Steve Mason to equalise soon after.
Queensbury's leading scorer Mick Naylor saw Queensbury ahead for the first time with 20 minutes left. Queensbury then had a good penalty shout turned down before Stephen Zoll, after missing an easier chance, levelled to send the game into extra time.
With Queensbury down to ten men due to injuries and other changes, Albion's Gareth Carney restored his side's lead before Asif Hussain, who missed a first-half penalty, converted a spot-kick to book Albion's semi final place.
In the Premier Division, in an entertaining encounter at Canal Road, Bolton Woods ran out 6-3 winners over a game Pudsey.
They were 3-1 ahead at the break, thanks to utility player Jared Stoney, Danny Spencer and Tariq Hussain. But within ten minutes of the restart, Woods had slipped to 3-3, Pudsey fighting back through Lee Knowles and Glenn Gamble, who beat the offside trap to level.
Pressure from Dominic Quinn saw Pudsey concede an own goal and, in the last quarter, Woods settled the game through a Chris Rossendale solo goal and a 20-yard chip from sub Jimmy Spencer.
Damien Melvin scored and had a hand in a couple of others in his debut for West Bowling in their 6-1 win over Queensbridge United in Division One.
Chris Wood scored the first four for Bowling, and both sides finished with ten men after the keepers were sent off.
In a great game for veterans, Dave Goth and Phil Rankin both scored twice in Clayton Orient's 5-2 win over Wibsey WMC.
Robert Morgan hit a late winner to keep Chellow on course for the Premier after Eastward had led twice before being edged out 3-2.
In Division 1A, QC's are Victoria Rangers' bogey side. Vics had only won one of the last five encounters and this time QC's took a point off unbeaten Vics again in a 2-2 draw.
Vics led twice through Danny Firth but QC's, who scored through Jason Conroy and Gareth Williams, were good value for their point.
The other side in the promotion frame - Silsden - were kept to 2-1 on a heavy pitch at Queensbury Reserves.
There was a sensational game in Division 1B at Fairweather Green Junction. The home side turned round 6-1 down to Chellow Reserves, pulled back to 6-4, then conceded a further goal at 7-4 before a second comeback made it 7-6.
In the final action, Junction keeper Jason Bulmer joined the attack for a corner and headed home an equaliser. Craig Smith finished top scorer for Junction with four.
Also making a comeback, Wibsey WMC Reserves - 4-1 down at half-time - came back to level only for a late keeping error to allow Ventus United a 5-4 win.
Bradford Moor slipped to another defeat, this time against Albion Sports Reserves 3-1. A last-minute penalty by Gary Baldy rubber-stamped Royal Clayton's 3-1 win over Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves.
Relay Recruitment's record of 39 league matches unbeaten came to an end when third-placed Beldon Sports beat the league leaders 4-2 in Division 3B.
Joe Williamson's boys surprised the home team with goals from Ryan Lambert and Ricky Dufton in the first half.
Relay pulled the visitors back to 2-2 but late goals from Dean Lambert and Jamie Bairstowe helped Beldon's own chances of promotion.
Britannia had an easy 6-2 victory over Drop Kick and George & Dragon also beat QC's by the same scoreline.
Wyke Wanderers eventually overcome Fountain 5-3 in Division 2A.
Goals from Martin Kerrins (2) and Michael Boldy gave the Wyke team a three-goal cushion but the home team took their foot off the pedal and allowed their opponents back into the match. Two late goals from Paul Brown and Nick Priesthorpe made sure the points stayed in Wyke.
Wanderers' near-neighbours Crown overcame a good Fountain team 5-3. A brace each for Paul Gott and Frank Cullen did the damage. A Gary Thorne hat-trick and two from Ryan Buckley helped George overcome White Swan 7-3.
And two goals from Ben Gallon gave Hare & Hounds the spoils in their 2-1 victory over Druids.
In Division 2B, a determined display from Tyersal's defence and an outstanding display from goalkeeper Mathew Clarkson help hold title challengers Oddfellows to a 0-0 scoreline at half-time at Arkwright Street.
But in the second half, even Clarkson's heroics could not hold the rampant Oddfellows' forwards. Ken Brown hit a hat-trick, Darren Allsopp hit two and further goals came from Phil Taylor and Ben Cahill.
Aarron Hollindrake hit all five goals in Oakworth Juniors' 5-3 win over Olde Kings Head.
Saltaire Rangers were knocked out of the quarter finals of the West Riding County Trophy 3-2 by Wharfedale Pirates - but they put up a terrific battle which went into extra time.
