If Dudley Hill win tomorrow and the other group result falls their way on Sunday, the Bradford club's progress in the Northern Rail Cup will be guaranteed.
Hill's player-assistant coach Chris Robinson said: "If we beat Warrington Wizards away and Bramley Buffaloes defeat Hemel on Sunday at home then we are certain to have a crack at a semi-professional club in what is in effect the last 16."
Hill's first-team manager Lee Collins said: "That would be a massive boost for us financially as I understand the clubs share the gate 50-50."
Dudley Hill defeated Keighley Cougars in the Powergen Challenge Cup last season, but Collins confessed that Hill aren't yet ready to compete with National League Two clubs on a week-to-week basis.
"We are getting nearer, but we aren't there yet," he said. "We are closer on the field, but we still need more volunteers for things like helping with the pitch."
Hill could well give Liam Jarvis a chance off the bench with Jon Treco possibly the one to drop out as he is involved with Wibsey Juniors in Sunday's National Youth Cup final against Leigh Miners' Rangers at Sedgley Park RUFC. If Hill win their group they will play-off against a runner-up from groups one to five for a quarter-final berth.
West Bowling face their toughest away match of the season against Hull Dockers tomorrow as they fight to preserve their National Conference League Premier Division status.
West's still feel they were badly done too when they lost a thrilling Powergen Challenge Cup second-round tie by a point in extra-time against the Dockers at the Bankfoot Oval last month.
Bowling coach Glenn Barraclough said: "We know we can beat the Dockers, as we have already proved, despite the fact they are in the top four and are clearly one of the best teams around.
"They lost 72-10 at Castleford Tigers last weekend in the cup and, with a bit of luck, will still be feeling bruises and bumps from that game.
"I was impressed with our 16-year old wingman Mark Card, who made his debut last week against Thatto Heath. He was never overawed and brought the ball out in style, so he will keep his spot in the team."
Bowling prop Paul Hutchin-son will have a fitness test on his injured knee and wingman Adam Wright is added to the squad.
