Detectives today sent a message to a vicious rapist who attacked a 14-year-old girl in Bradford: "Come to us before we get to you."
The attack on the teenager on Thursday night, which was first reported in later editions of yesterday's Telegraph & Argus, was described as "hideous".
The girl was dragged into a car in Bridge Street in the city centre at about 9.10pm then driven to a cul-de-sac in East Bierley where she was raped.
Police today revealed a full description of the car involved and are examining CCTV footage from the areas where the incidents took place.
The car is a light blue Fiat hatchback with purple lighting under the door.
Detective Inspector Steve Hopwood, leading the inquiry, said: "We are taking this extremely seriously.
"If whoever did this wishes to talk to us then they should come to the Central police station because we will find you. The people responsible for this hideous attack will be caught."
He said the attacker was of Middle Eastern appearance and aged 30 to 35 and of a muscular build.
He had a green sweater with a beige zig-zag pattern on it and cream cord trousers.
He was one of three men in the car which kidnapped the girl as she walked near Bradford Interchange near the parking bays at the top of Bridge Street.
She was dragged into the back seat and there were two other men in the front seat. They got out when she was attacked.
Afterwards she was dumped in Bowling Back Lane and she managed to find her way to Wakefield Road where she rang police shortly before 11pm.
Det Insp Hopwood said the girl had been going about her lawful business and every effort was being made to bring those responsible to justice.
The girl is described as being "extremely shocked" and has been interviewed by specially-trained officers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on (01274) 376459.
