Neither Salts nor Westwood could slow down the charge of their opponents, Eastmoor and Halifax Irish, in their bid to win promotion to the Premier Division.
Salts matched their visitors for effort but failed to convert their chances, and it was a Colin Lovell strike in the second half that gave Eastmoor a 1-0 win to put them within sight of automatic promotion from Division One.
Westwood, who had held Eastmoor to a
1-1 draw two weeks ago, travelled to Halifax Irish, but failed to turn in a similar performance and were soundly beaten 5-0, with Sean Gibbons, Steve Galloway, Andy Gregory, Chris Payne, and John Clarke scoring for the Irishmen.
Second-placed Farnley, who have played four more games than Halifax, had their lead cut to three points after they went down 3-1 at Altofts.
Dudley Hill Rangers were also on the losing side when hosts Marsden took three points towards safety with a 3-2 victory.
Joe Brady netted a hat-trick for Keighley Shamrocks as they beat relegation-haunted Morley Town by the same scoreline.
Littletown and Lower Hopton shared four goals, Steve Batley scoring twice for Littletown and Mark Hepworth doing the same for Lower Hopton.
Campion held a 1-0 half-time lead in their Premier Division game at Otley Town thanks to an Adie Howard goal. Town hit back in the second half and levelled, then went ahead with strikes from Stuart Hinds and Ian Wolfenden.
Campion shook off the setback and were soon back on equal terms through Tariq Hussain. The game swung back in Otley's favour when Paul Conway scored to give the home side a 3-2 win.
Hall Green United and Heckmondwike Town, who are both struggling against relegation, shared the points after a 2-2 draw.
Ovenden West Riding, who are also close to the relegation area, failed to take advantage. They also had to settle for a point when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Ardsley Celtic.
With only two places available for promotion from Division Two, leaders Kirkburton and second-placed South Bradford, who were both inactive, are keeping a close watch on Leeds-based Westbrook YMCA, who with games in hand could catch and possibly split the two sides.
Ventus/Yeadon Celtic failed to put up much resistance as Westbrook, with goals from Phil Morton (3), Mark Sutcliffe, Ian Whittle and Richard Nutbrown, ran out easy 6-1 victors.
Brighouse Town Reserves, who held the proud distinction of being the only unbeaten side in the league, lost the tag at Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves, who after going behind to a Shaun Kirby goal in the first half, hit back to win their Division One (Reserves) clash 2-1 with goals from Cale Gomersal and Jamie Lee.
Tyersal's second string moved ahead of Town at the top of the division after beating Keighley Shamrock's 4-0.
l The second of this season's Premier Division Cup semi-finals takes place at Brighouse Town tomorrow (7.15) when Tyersal meet Otley Town for the right to play Ovenden West Riding in the final.
