The Bulls are predicting a record crowd will roll up to Odsal to watch the Grand Final re-match against Leeds Rhinos tomorrow night.

A late surge in ticket sales has placed the current record for a regular-season match - set in 1999 when 24,020 watched Mick Withers slot a late field goal to give the Bulls a

19-18 victory over the Rhinos at Odsal - under threat.

As of last night, close to 20,000

tickets had been pre-sold, said club spokesman Stuart Duffy.

"We have sold a tremendous amount of tickets over the last two days and it's looking likely we will be close to the Super League attendance record," he said.

"We urge all supporters to get

their tickets in advance to avoid

congestion at the turnstiles. The Odsal ticket office will be open until 7.30 tonight and right up to kick-off on Thursday. This game is the one everyone wants to see and we don't want anyone to miss it."

Coach Brian Noble hoped to include winger Andy Smith in his 18-man squad when he named it at 2pm today. Smith, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, should

provide cover for Lesley Vainikolo, who is still only about 70 per cent fit after also struggling with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Wigan winger Brian Carney faces a further six weeks on the sidelines after suffering another injury in his comeback match. The Great Britain international sustained knee ligament damage in the closing stages of the Warriors' 62-6 engage Super League defeat of Leigh last Friday.

Australia Test centre Michael De Vere will make his debut for Huddersfield against Salford at the Galpharm Stadium on Easter Monday after recovering from knee surgery.
