Skipton finally play their long-awaited Yorkshire Shield quarter-final match at Heath tomorrow (3pm).
Heath are currently in the league above the Reds, but are struggling near the foot of the table. The Sandylands outfit will feel capable of progressing, especially after their win in the last round against North Two East side Malton and Norton in the last round way back in early January. The match is also a chance for them to exact some cup revenge after Heath knocked Skipton out of the Powergen Junior Vase at the semi-final stage a few seasons back.
Good performances in last week's friendly against Old Otliensians mean there are only spots on the bench for regulars Nathan Tiffin and Mark Davison, who return from injury. Also returning from a hand injury is Kiwi star Grant Litt, who is a pivotal figure for the Reds.
Skipton: A Naylor, P Lacy, D Howson, S Marks, D Litt, M Beech, N Fitzsimmonds, G Hindle, T Howarth, M Willsher, G Newhouse, S Boatwright, D Roberts, M Boatwright. Reps: N Tiffin, C Watts, M Davison, M Cox.
