City of Bradford's swimmers were on top form in the Yorkshire Team Championships held at Sheffield Ponds Forge.
The girls' nine/ten years medley team of Elise Johnson, Gemma Harlow, Emma Whitaker and Bagcat winner Sian Morgan led the way with an impressive display.
A very close race resulted in a final time of 2min 36.39sec for the four-strong Bradford team, who just got the touch ahead of City of Leeds (2.36.47).
The girls' 14 years freestyle team, consisting of Megan Bowes-Ayres, Rebecca Brown, Rosie Preston and breaststroke specialist Rosie Underwood, won the silver medal.
Bronze medallists were the girls' 12 years freestyle team of Jemma Walker, twin sisters Rebecca and Abigail Smith and Lucy Burnside.
The same team, swimming individual strokes, also won the medley team race.
Finally, the boys' 15/16 years medley team of Ross Johnson, Michael Kipling, Marcus Sahebjam and Adam Coxell came home in the bronze medal position.
Along with eight other final team placings the meeting rounded off an exciting and successful weekend for City's swimmers, who also came away with 14 medals and 14 final placings at the Yorkshire Age Group Meet in Sheffield.
Ilkley's Sian Morgan once again made her mark on the meet with three golds and a bronze.
Her gold medals came in the girls' ten years 50m butterfly, breaststroke and freestyle and her bronze in the backstroke. She also won the Bagcat points in her age group.
Abigail Smith, whose sister Rebecca was also a finalist, finished on top of the rostrum in the girls' 12 years 50m backstroke, as did 14-year-old national qualifier Michael Goggs in the 50m backstroke and butterfly.
Newcomer to City of Bradford, Ben Balmforth, of Burley-in-Wharfedale, showed his versatility in reaching the final of the boys' 12 years 50m breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle. However, it was the breaststroke event which gave him his first Yorkshire title.
Silver medals went to Luke Constantine in the boys' 12 years 50m butterfly, Lee Smith in the boys' 13 years 50m breaststroke and David Brown in the boys' 11 years 50m breaststroke.
City's newest member, James Ball, won bronze in the boys' 13 years 50m backstroke and Brendan Watson in both the 14 years 50m backstroke and freestyle.
Other finalists were Jemma Walker, Sian Freeman, Gemma Harlowe Lucy Burnside, Holly Mitchell and Edward Brownlee and Harryson Stirk, who was a double finalist in the boys' nine years age group.
