Silsden butcher Andrew Aspinall is thanking customers for making his first year in business such a success by aiming to put something back into the community.
Andrew took over Smithies Butchers -- which has been established for more than 100 years -- on April 5, last year, and confesses to being a little worried at the time.
"John Smithies had run the business for the last 20 years and was well liked in the village, so I wondered how the customers would take to me," he said.
"Their reaction has been great. The existing customers have stayed with me and some new ones have come along as I have extended the range of meats.
"I am very grateful to them and want to thank them for their support," he added.
Andrew decided to put something back into the community by holding a prize draw to celebrate his first anniversary.
It costs £1 to enter and all proceeds from the event will go to Silsden Business Watch's CCTV camera appeal.
Prizes include a family-sized barbecue, a three-course meal for two at the Grouse pub and a luxury meat hamper. The draw will take place on May 7.
